The last day of 10. How did it happen? She's going to be 11 the next time I see her. In the midsts of Josi being sick, Cadi's birthday party was postponed until after we get back. We had tickets to go to the play Radio Girls ,but I knew Josi wasn't well enough to go. I asked Cadi to call my cousin and see if she wanted to go with her. Instead my cousin volunteered to come stay with Josi. So the two of us had a date and enjoy ourselves so much. When we got back we sang a quick Happy Birthday and had a piece of chocolate silk pie. She has requested breakfast in bed in the morning. I may have to sneak back upstairs in a few minutes and take one more peek at my 10 year old...
Well since it's Sunday already I'll wish Cadi a very Happy Birthday! She's growing up so fast and is such a lovely young lady! Hope everyone is healthy for China next week!! all the best.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Cadi! What a gift to get to go to China and reconnect with her beginnings! The play sounds like fun too. Sometimes I wish for one-on-one time with mine but it's just us three so we are a set of three always!
