Day 60 March 1

I took some pictures today for a friend of mine. She and her husband needed some updated photos to use on their church's webpage. Anyway we went to the harbor and I was fortunate enough to get pictures of a sea otter who had hauled up on one of the float. It was sunbathing and I guess the thought of me being close was less offensive than going back into the water. I was probably about 20 feet away when I got this one. The fur is just incredible...

  2. Oh Marleen I am swooning with jealousy! I LOVE otters! The only ones I have seen close up are through glass at our GA Aquarium - we have some little Asian otters and some sea otters like this. I can't imagine photographing one in the wild! This is an amazing photo!
