On January 27th I took a picture out my dining room window a little before 5 p.m. Tonight I took the same shot right before 8:00 pm. Quite a bit of difference in the light. Still a lot of snow, but the good news is the volcano didn't manage to send ash our way today!

The volcano is over by Homer and it's been errupting since Sunday, but we've been spared. So far the winds keep blowing in our favor. Hope it stays that way during the weekend!
