Day 168/169 June 17-18

When we were in Anchorage, my friend, MAxine, gave Josi a lot of flannel scraps. I cut out squares for her and she has bussily been sewing yesterday and today to complet a quilt top. This first picture shows about half of the top sewn and the other shows her back at sewing first thing this morning when she woke up! The fabric store isn't open today so we will go tomorrow sho she can select a back for her quilt and then we will put it together and tie it. She has really shown an interest and a very long attention span to this project. I might have a seamstress in the house. Of course this means I have to pretend like I enjoy sewing!

  3. Wow that is impressive! I want to sew so badly but I am terrible at precise things. Unfortunately Lily is the same way. Sewing is such a great skill to have - it sure looks like Josi is a fantastic seamstress already!
